UNEXPECTED BENEFITS of being up at all hours

  • No lines at 24-hour Safeway at 4 am
  • Can park in a street-cleaning spot, because will be awake in the early morning to move the car
  • Can take friends to the airport at 6 am just as easily as 10 am. Easier, actually.
  • Related note: Can get cheaper flights at weird hours sometimes
  • Sunrise
  • Uploading 300 MB of photos to Flickr goes faster when everyone else is asleep
  • Laundry machine is ALWAYS free late-night
  • Can surprise people by responding to email/text msg at any hour
  • Benefit/Drawback: Friends coming back from clubs at 4 AM think it is funny to call you b/c they know you’ll be up (St&Di!)
  • … Anyone have any thoughts for me to add?
